Our Work
The programs of Therapeia CDC aspire to improve the quality of life (QoL) for the marginalized and low-income communities in Hermitage and Old Hickory. We seek to accomplish this by establishing and maintaining a continual and effective partnership with service providers and community and faith-based leaders to address the educational, economic, and health disparities that negatively impact these communities.

LIFE FIT
LIFE FIT programs are designed to address mental, physical, and emotional health. We believe the health of a community is determined by the health of those individuals in the neighborhood.
Adibisha Academy
Adibisha is a Swahili term that means “train in good manners.” We aim to teach and tutor students in the McGavock Cluster of the Nashville Metropolitan Public Schools system, reading at or below their grade level or demonstrating failing test scores in math, to learn and grow beyond their grade level and be the next generation's leaders through After School and a Summer Enrichment Programs.

Project REBUILD
Project REBUILD is the lifeblood of the low-income housing movement, building quality affordable homes and preserving diversity and community in traditionally marginalized areas in the Hermitage and Old Hickory neighborhoods.
GILEAD
This program employs restorative justice principles, addressing social issues beyond crime, law, and the criminal justice system, including economic inequality, classism, racism, and educational disparities.
